This Shipping Policy explains how orders placed through our Website are processed, dispatched, and delivered. Because we operate a dropshipping model, your order is fulfilled directly by our supplier located outside Australia ("Supplier") and shipped to you from their facility.

 

By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Shipping Policy.

 

2. Order Processing

 

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days of payment confirmation. You will receive an order confirmation email once your payment has been accepted.

 

Please ensure your delivery address is correct at the time of checkout. We are not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by you. If you need to update your delivery address, contact us immediately at sales@turkishlighthouse.com — address changes can only be made before your order is dispatched.

 

3. Dispatch and Fulfilment

 

All orders are dispatched directly by our Supplier. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information where available.

 

Dispatch timeframes from our Supplier are typically 2–5 business days after order processing. Total delivery time is the sum of processing time plus transit time.

5. Shipping Costs

Orders shipped outside Australia are subject to the customs laws and import regulations of the destination country. Any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges levied by your country's authorities are your responsibility and are not included in our product prices or shipping charges.

 

We have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. We recommend checking with your local customs authority before placing an order if you are concerned about potential import costs.

 

We are required by law to accurately declare the contents and value of all shipments on customs documentation. We will not falsify customs declarations or mark shipments as "gifts" to avoid duties.

 

8. Lost or Undelivered Parcels

 

If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery window, please contact us at sales@turkishlighthouse.com with your order number. We will investigate with our Supplier and the carrier.

 

Australian Customers: Under the Australian Consumer Law, we remain responsible for ensuring your goods are delivered. If your order is confirmed as lost in transit, we will offer you a replacement or full refund. Shipping policy terms that attempt to transfer transit risk to you are not enforceable under Australian law.

 

International Customers: If your order is lost in transit, contact us and we will work with our Supplier to resolve the matter. Outcomes will depend on the carrier's investigation findings and applicable local laws.

 

9. Damaged in Transit

 

If your order arrives visibly damaged, please:

 

Photograph the damaged packaging and item before opening or using it

Contact us at sales@turkishlighthouse.com within 48 hours of delivery

Include your order number and photographs in your message

11. Split Shipments

 

In some cases, your order may be fulfilled in multiple shipments if items are dispatched separately by our Supplier. You will receive separate tracking information for each shipment. You will not be charged additional shipping fees for split shipments unless agreed in advance.
